As-salāmu ʿalaykum wa-raḥmatu llāhi wa-barakātuhu,
In light of the second state of emergency declared by the provincial government and the rising number of CoVID-19 cases, effective Thursday, January 14, 2021, the London Muslim Mosque will be prohibiting access to the general public until further notice. There will be no Fajr or Isha congregation prayers held, and consequently no lottery system necessary.
In addition, the London Muslim Mosque will not be open to the public for Friday prayers. Friday Khutba’s will continue to be broadcasted and can be accessed on the mosque's Facebook page and also on Islamica on Rogers TV. We encourage our members to tune in and listen to the Khutbah from home, and then pray Dhuhr with their families.
This was not an easy decision, and everyone at the London Muslim Mosque prays for a quick resolution for this pandemic. May Allah protect our community and allow us to emerge stronger. While our physical doors are closed, we continue to offer virtual lectures and resources, and are available by email and telephone to support our community and answer any questions or concerns.
